Designed and fabricated in my London Studio, this kitchen was part a large extension by Paul Archer Design –  Boscombe House Project.

They designed a sculptural timber structure following the unique geometry of the site.

I designed the kitchen to work with the unusual internal space that the structure provided. The worktop increases in depth as it moves towards the window reaching 1m deep, allowing for the plant in the corner.

The cabinets are contained by concrete pillars and veneered in Spalted Beech while framed in Wenge and Cherry with unfinished brass handles.

The dining room end of the large central island is finished with three patinated brass panels adding more colour and texture.

Due to the unusual angles in the room the extractor was templated and custom made by Westins.

The spalted beech veneer was carefully laid out in the veneer workshop  to create a balanced graphic pattern across the kitchen, framed by the dark lines of Wenge hardwood
